NIRVANA: Track Listing Announced For 'Sliver' Compilation

Billboard.com is reporting that the track list has been revealed for the upcoming NIRVANA compilation, "Sliver: The Best of the Box", due Nov. 1 via Geffen/UME. The set is led by three previously unreleased tracks — "Spank Thru" from the famed 1985 "Fecal Matter" demo tape, the 1990 studio outtake "Sappy" and a pre-"Nevermind" rehearsal recording of "Come as You Are".

The album's other 19 tracks are all drawn from the 2004 boxed set "With the Lights Out", including a cover of LED ZEPPELIN's "Heartbreaker" from a 1987 house party, the "Nevermind" outtake "Old Age" and a 1994 Kurt Cobain home demo of "All Apologies".
